Food Drive for YCSP’s Thanksgiving Program

It’s that time of year when the York County Shelter Programs’ Food Pantry is starting its Thanksgiving Basket Program. The program provides community members in need with a full Thanksgiving dinner. YCSP is holding its 11th Annual Harvest Thanksgiving Benefit and Food Drive on Sunday, November 8th, 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., in the parking lot of the Sanford Elks Lodge at 13 Elm Street in Sanford. Covid-19 Update: 10/15

After peaking in late September, the number of new cases of Covid-19 in Sanford and Springvale continues to decline. The latest data broken out by zip code shows that as of October 11, there was a cumulative total of 199 cases of Covid-19 in our community, with 152 in Sanford and 47 in Springvale. Sanford U-U Church Responding to Local Needs

The church’s Covid Relief Team has been meeting weekly to consider requests for assistance and to learn about unforeseen hardships created by the pandemic.
