The Sanford Springvale News is a local nonprofit newspaper, operating with the following guidelines for articles and calendar events:
• News must be local Information and human interest stories only
• Nonpartisan coverage of local news
• Fundraising, events and stories from community organizations including religious groups, clubs, schools etc.
• All articles submitted are subject to editing
Articles, Press Releases and brief News Notes should be submitted in a WORD document by 5p Tuesday to: submissions@sanfordspringvalenews.com
• NOTE: Be sure to include photo credits and photo captions in the WORD doc, and a way for us to contact you if we have questions.
• Photos should be either jpg or png format, and submitted separately from the WORD doc.
SSN Community Calendar:
• Includes only events that take place in Sanford & Springvale or are organized by a Sanford/Springvale organization.
• Must be open to the public (not “members only”)
