We are grateful to the many volunteers who work to bring you the Sanford Springvale News, but there are costs associated with publication and that’s where you can help.

Our fiscal agent is a registered 501c3 nonprofit and will provide you with the tax exemption

 The Sanford Springvale News is produced by a group of volunteers who believe that having a source of accurate, unbiased local information is critical to a healthy, connected community. This is especially true since it’s hard to distinguish fact from opinion or fiction online. We provide information from the city of Sanford and the school department, interesting articles about history, nature and the arts, great local photography, sports news and the latest schedule of upcoming events. 

Though it’s an all-volunteer effort, there are costs associated with production, and there will be more when we eventually bring back a print edition.
