Council Revises Rules for Multi-Media Access

At its meeting on January 19, the City Council unanimously adopted revisions to the Rules of Procedure which govern how meetings are conducted. New 550-Acre Conservation Project

Three Rivers Land Trust is working to preserve a large recreation and conservation area in Springvale to benefit the community and the region. This 550-acre property, to be named the “Sanford Community Forest,” is one of the largest remaining undeveloped areas within city limits, and Three Rivers aims to protect its ecological health while keeping it available for public recreation and traditional uses. Pilot’s Cove Cafe Plans Outdoor Expansion

Pilot's Cove Cafe is planning to expand this year with a new pavilion for outdoor dining, similar to the one pictured here. Sanford Seacoast Regional Airport Manager Allison Navia and Pilot's Cove owner Daniel Bowden spoke about the plans at the January 12 meeting of the City Council's Property Subcommittee.
