Arrests & Summonses: June 4-9, 2021

On Friday, June 4, there were two civil summonses issued for motor vehicle stops on Main St. in Springvale. Paperwork was also served to a River St. address on a harassment charge. Saturday, June 5, there were no arrests or summonses, but Sanford Police were kept busy with reports of larceny/forgery/fraud at four different locations, two reports of terrorizing/threatening, and many other calls. School Budget Approved in Low Turnout

The Sanford School Department's budget for 2021-2022 was approved in a vote of 407-177 in Tuesday's referendum. Just 4% of Sanford's registered voters bothered to cast a ballot one way or the other. The 584 total votes includes 72 early/absentee votes. The breakdown of votes by ward is shown in the official tally pictured above.
