The Sanford School Department’s budget for 2021-2022 was approved in a vote of 407-177 in Tuesday’s referendum. Just 4% of Sanford’s registered voters bothered to cast a ballot one way or the other. The 584 total votes includes 72 early/absentee votes. The breakdown of votes by ward is shown in the official tally pictured above.
