Police Log Highlights: April 30-May 6

On Friday, April 30, Sanford Police arrested a 41-year-old Springvale resident on a charge of domestic violence stalking, with a prior, after a 4:00 a.m. call to a Country Club Rd. #3 address. Later that day, after a motor vehicle stop in the vicinity of Nason St. and Main St., a 34-year-old Sanford resident was summonsed for operating while license suspended or revoked-OUI. News Notes: May 7, 2021

The Sanford Police Department would like recognize members of the Sanford-Springvale Rotary, Sanford Housing Authority, Great Bay Services, Catholic Diocese of Maine, YMCA and the Knights of Columbus (pictured above) for participating in Thursday’s clean-up of a former homeless encampment at the Notre Dame Cemetery in Springvale.  Sixteen volunteers participated in the effort organized by Ofc. Small, our Community Outreach Coordinator.  This is the seventh clean-up of this nature.  With only three more clean-ups remaining there will be no more encampments…
