Line Dancing starts back up on Wednesday, September 14.  Sanford Parks and Recreation Coordinator, Lori Hegarty, will be leading line dancing at the Memorial Gym, 678 Main St. Park on the right hand side of the building and in back of the building.  Dance from 10:45-11:45 Wednesday mornings.  Cost is just $2 each week you participate - pay supervisor on duty.  Plenty of room for social distancing.  If you have questions call Lori at 324-9130. Election Update: September 9, 2022

The filing period for Sanford local elections ended yesterday. Here is the final list of candidates. Mayor: City Councilor Becky Brink will be the sole candidate on the ballot. Mayor Anne-Marie Mastraccio is not seeking reelection. (Lance Hoenig and Bradford Littlefield both took out papers, but did not submit them.) The Sanford City Council met Tuesday, September 6. Councilor Jonathan Martell was absent with notice, all others were present. The minutes of the previous meetings were approved.
