Shooting Follows Confrontation Downtown

Police are investigating what led to a shooting in downtown Sanford just as the Holly Daze parade was about to start on Friday afternoon. According to a department press release, officers were called to the parking lot of the new T-Mobile store at the corner of Main and Lebanon streets a little before 4 pm on Dec. 1, 2023.
