Sanford’s Got Talent is going virtual for 2021. From February 8 through February 26, the Sanford Middle School Jobs for Maine Graduates (JMG) program is accepting one-minute videos from SMS students (four day, hybrid and remote) and staff showing off their best dance moves. City Approves Trash & Recycling Contracts; PAYT Bag Price to Increase $1

At its February 16 meeting, the Sanford City Council unanimously approved two new contracts dealing with solid waste and recycling. The first was a five-year extension of the contract with Casella Resource Solutions to pick up and dispose of our trash, and haul our recyclables to EcoMaine. A two-year or three-year extension had also been considered by the Solid Waste Subcommittee, but it was determined that the five-year extension was the best value.
