Downtown Buildings Getting Facelifts

A couple of Sanford’s most visible downtown buildings are getting much-needed exterior improvements under their new owners. There were no arrests on Sunday, July 18. Several motor vehicle stops resulted in written warnings, while one driver got a ticket. On Sunday, July 11, a summons was issued following a shoplifting call to a Main St. address. There were also two citations written that day following motor vehicle stops, on Main St. and Lebanon St. Monday, July 12, Sanford officers responding to a disturbance on Emerson St. summonsed a 43-year-old Sanford resident on an assault charge.
