In the early hours of Sunday, June 20, Sanford Police, responding to a report of an intoxicated/incapacitated person on Main St. in Springvale, issued a summons to a 33-year-old Kennebunkport resident on a charge of violating condition of release. Later that afternoon, a motor vehicle accident at the intersection of Country Club Rd. and Country Club Rd. 2 led to a 20-year-old Dover, NH, resident being summonsed for operating a vehicle without a license. The Sanford Fire Department provided mutual aid with three structure fires during the week. On Monday, June 20 at 1:16 a.m., our firefighters provided assistance to the North Berwick Fire Department with a fire on High St. On Friday, June 25 at 3:25 p.m., SFD provided aid to Shapleigh firefighters with a house fire on Cross Rd. On Friday, June 18, The Sanford Fire Department dealt with a brush fire at Pinnacle Health & Rehab on Main St. Engines 4 and 5 were both on the scene. On Sunday, June 13, an arrest was made while Sanford Police were assisting another agency on Main St. No details were given. Monday, June 14, a report of vandalism on Mousam St. in Springvale led to a 76-year-old Springvale resident being summonsed for criminal mischief.
