People Around Town: March 20, 2022

The Trafton Travelers had their first successful trip of the season, with a St. Patrick's Day party at the Danversport Yacht Club. Students in the SRTC Culinary Arts program are getting the seasoning just right for their Greek inspired soup. They have been using their soup making skills this month as part of the Lenten meals being served by the Knights of Columbus. Staff members at Waban getting into the St. Paddy's day spirit! ...and the kids did too!

On Sunday, March 6, a stolen vehicle report on Hutchinson St. led to a 31-year-old Shapleigh resident being summonsed for theft by unauthorized use of property. Fire Log: March 1-15, 2022

Fires Sanford firefighters provided mutual aid to Lebanon for a building fire on March 4. Three units responded. On March 10, a fire on top of a kitchen stove on Jellerson Rd. brought five units to the rescue. Fortunately, it was confined to the container. Three reported fires turned out to be authorized controlled burning, while two others were unauthorized. There was one call classified as a smoke scare or odor of smoke.
