Sanford Elks are participating in the sneaker drive for Sanford elementary schools. New or gently used sneakers in child sizes 10-13 and youth sizes 1-7 can be dropped off at the Elks Lodge on Elm St. until March 29. If you prefer to donate money, they will be glad to do the shopping for you.

This Y program pairs volunteers with young readers to boost reading skills and encourage a life-long love of reading! Interested in learning more or registering your child? The June 14 state primary election and School Budget referendum is less than three months away. If you plan to be away then, or just like the convenience of voting by absentee ballot, you can request one now, either by filling out the online form or by calling the City Clerk’s office at (207) 324-9125.
Nasson Basketball Camp for kids in grades 3-8 is open for registration now. The camp will run Monday-Thursday, April 18-21, with grades 3-5 from 9:00-11:00 a.m. and grades 6-8 from 11:00 to 1:00. Coaches John Morgan, Leyton Bickford and Abiola Davids will lead a fun basketball camp designed to help players develop skills through drills, games and play.
