International Woolen Could Get Additional Cleanup Funds

Sanford could be in line for additional federal funds for cleaning up the International Woolen mill site, resulting from a recent grant announcement from the Environmental Protection Agency.  The EPA awarded $3 million to Southern Maine Regional Planning and Development Commission, which runs a revolving loan program available to municipalities for assessing and cleaning up polluted industrial sites.
