The Rhodies Are in Bloom! Access to the five-acre stand of blooms at Harvey Butler Rhododendron Sanctuary is by way of a trail on Upper Oak Street. A new trail with off-street parking is planned, thanks to a collaboration between Three Rivers Land Trust, Sanford Trails and the Native Plant Trust. The Wall That Heals Coming to Sanford in September

The Wall That Heals is coming to Sanford in September 2023. This 3/4 scale replica of the Vietnam Veterans Memorial wall in Washington, DC is 375 feet in length and stands 7.5 feet high at its tallest point. The Wall, with its mobile Education Center, has traveled to nearly 700 communities across the country since its dedication in 1996. Crafters sought for fundraising festival 

Calling all crafters!   York County Shelter Programs is looking for crafters for the Shaker Hill Apple Festival, which will be held on the YCSP campus Saturday, Sept. 23, 10-4, and Sunday, Sept. 24, 10-3.  This juried craft fair is a big part of the festival, which also features music, family activities such as hayrides, great food and more.
