The City of Sanford is gearing up for its 2023 Independence Day celebration with many exciting events.
Activities start with the 3rd of July Block Party at Number One Pond. Vendors will open at 4:00 pm and offer a variety of goodies. The first Maine Attraction water ski show of the season will take place with warmups beginning at 6:00 pm, and the show starting at 6:30 pm. Music with a DJ will be provided starting at 7:30 pm. All this leads up to the annual Fireworks Show which begins around 9:00 pm.
Please note that the Sanford Mainers have a 5:00 pm home game vs. the Bristol Blues at Goodall Park, too.
The celebration continues the next day with the annual 4th of July Parade. At 10:00 am the parade starts at the intersection of Main Street and Stilson Street with the parade ending at Gowen Park Drive.
