Fishing Derby Winners

There was a great turnout at Winterfest on Saturday, February 13, for the Ice Fishing Derby on Number One Pond. 53 kids participated and many fish were caught. In the Large Mouth Bass category, Logan Cormack, age 14, won the blue ribbon with a 16 ¼ inch fish. Performing Arts Center Update

The Sanford Performing Arts Center is now in the black, and is in great shape to restart programming next fall, according to School Committee member Paula Cote. Recent postcard mailings, and the “Free For All” series of performances paid for by Covid grant funds, have raised SPAC’s visibility in the community. Sanford Stand Down for Homeless Vets
