Andersen Sworn In As Sanford’s New Police Chief

Following the recognition of retiring Police Chief Tom Connolly at the July 20 City Council meeting, City Manager Steven Buck described the lengthy process of selecting the Chief's replacement. A 22-Person Committee was appointed to provide input into the City’s and Department’s needs for the next Police Chief. Police Chief Connolly Recognized For Service

The City Council this week expressed appreciation to retiring Police Chief Thomas P. Connolly, Jr. for his 14 years of service to the City. At the Council's meeting on July 20, Mayor Anne-Marie Mastraccio read a proclamation recognizing Chief Connolly for his 41 years in law enforcement.
