On Sunday, December 5, a 39-year-old resident of Portsmouth, NH, was arrested at a Main St. address in Springvale, on a charge of domestic violence assault. Among other calls that day were a report of shoplifting on Main St., and vandalism on Shaw St. Monday, December 6, following a disturbance on Main St., a 48-year-old Sanford resident was taking into custody by Sanford officers for aggravated assault. Update on Police Department Activities

On December 14, 2021, members of the City Council’s Public Safety Subcommittee got a report from Police Chief Craig Andersen and some of his officers on the Department’s recent activities.
