City Parks & Recreation Facilities Reopen

At their regular meeting on Tuesday, October 6, the City Council voted unanimously to accept the recommendation of the Public Safety Subcommittee, and reopen all parks and recreational facilities in Sanford and Springvale to low and moderate risk activities, as defined by the Maine Department of Economic and Community Development’s community sports guidelines. City Council Candidates: Joseph Hanslip

Joseph Hanslip has been a member of Sanford’s City Council since 2005, and has served as Chair and Vice Chair. He currently serves as Deputy Mayor. Prior to joining the Council, he was a County Commissioner for York County, and was on the Board of Trustees of the Maine Community College System.
