Partners Bank recently announced its sponsorship of an exhibition at the Ogunquit Museum of American Art (OMAA) during the museum’s 2020 season. The Bank’s pledge of $10,000 is funding the exhibition Light Southerly: Henry Strater in Verde Valley, which has been on view since July 1. School Sports & Activities Get the Green Light

by Matt Nelson, Superintendent of Schools The Maine Centers for Disease Control and Maine Department of Education announced on Friday that York County is moving back to green according to its Health Advisory System rating (red, yellow, green). This was an additional, interim assessment; government agencies will resume their normal bi-weekly review next Friday. “Free For All” Performances Coming From SPAC to Your House

This week, the Sanford Performing Arts Center announced a series of four “Free For All” performances. As the title suggests, the shows will be available to watch for FREE from the comfort of your home via live video stream. The series is sponsored by Sanford’s “Wear a Mask and Keep Your Six” public health campaign. Lanterns of Light for Sanford Strong

The Lanterns of Light is a project being organized by the Jobs for Maine Graduates kids from Sanford Middle School, with help from community members and local businesses. Food Drive for YCSP’s Thanksgiving Program

It’s that time of year when the York County Shelter Programs’ Food Pantry is starting its Thanksgiving Basket Program. The program provides community members in need with a full Thanksgiving dinner. YCSP is holding its 11th Annual Harvest Thanksgiving Benefit and Food Drive on Sunday, November 8th, 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., in the parking lot of the Sanford Elks Lodge at 13 Elm Street in Sanford.
