Sanford U-U Church Responding to Local Needs

by Lee Burnett The Sanford Unitarian Universalist Church is mobilizing its own resources to fill gaps in Covid relief efforts locally. The church’s Covid Relief Team has been meeting weekly to consider requests for assistance and to learn about unforeseen hardships created by the pandemic. Flu Clinics for Sanford Students

Sanford schools will host influenza vaccination clinics following COVID-19 safety guidelines at each school this fall. They are collaborating with Northern Light Home Care and Hospice to provide these free clinics to Sanford students. See the schedule below. Parents of in-person learners must return their child’s completed vaccination form to their school nurse by Monday, October 19th.  Distance learners must pre-register for their vaccinations here and bring the completed vaccination form with them to the clinic.   All clinics will administer injectable vaccines.…
