MDEA Press Release The Maine Drug Enforcement Agency and Sanford Police announce the arrests of two Sanford people for Aggravated drug trafficking. The 20 horses that were seized recently from a home on Deering Neighborhood Rd. are in need of extensive medical care. They are currently being cared for at the Maine State Society for the Protection of Animals farm in Windham, and will be available for adoption when they are back to good health. Fire Department Log: July 18-24

There were no fires this week. Other incidents: On Sunday, July 18, a faulty electrical appliance on Shawmut Ave. caused excessive heat and scorching, but fortunately, it did not ignite.
