On Sunday, July 11, a summons was issued following a shoplifting call to a Main St. address. There were also two citations written that day following motor vehicle stops, on Main St. and Lebanon St. Monday, July 12, Sanford officers responding to a disturbance on Emerson St. summonsed a 43-year-old Sanford resident on an assault charge. Infrastructure Update: The Sanford Water District has completed its upgrades on Railroad Avenue, and would like to thank the residents there for their patience and understanding while the District renewed services and valve boxes in preparation for the reconstruction of the road.
