Raymond Xavier Theriault, Jr.
November 18, 1932 – August 13, 2021
Raymond Xavier Theriault, Jr., son of the late Raymond Sr. and Molly Theriault was born on November 18, 1932 in East Lebanon, Maine. He was raised in Sanford, Maine alongside his eleven siblings. After serving in the United States Army, Raymond moved to Needham, Massachusetts where he was self-employed as a plumber. Raymond raised his nine children: Glenn, John, Susan, Charlie, Helen, Jason, Julie, Shirley and Raymond Ill. Raymond went on to have twenty grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
Raymond loved playing and coaching sports well into his 80’s. He coached multiple generations of youth in Needham and neighboring towns. Raymond was also passionate about swing-dancing.
Raymond is preceded in death by his children; Julie and Raymond III, his grandchildren: Alexis Perlt and Sophie Theriault, and his great grandson, Travis Caruso.
He will be interred at Southern Maine Veterans Cemetery in Springvale, Maine on September 20, 2021 at 11:00AM.
