Acton Fair Returns This Weekend

After taking a year off during the worst of the pandemic, the Acton Fair returns this weekend with all your favorite attractions and events. Sanford Pride Elementary Ready to Welcome Students

The multi-year reorganization of Sanford’s schools will be nearly complete when Sanford Pride Elementary School opens its doors to students in grades 1-4 on Monday, August 30. Kindergarteners start September 1. The building which has been transformed into Pride Elementary over the past year was built as Sanford Junior High School in 1959, and enlarged in 1980. Most Sanford and Springvale homeowners got unhappy news in their property tax bills this week, as the big bump in the residential real estate market has resulted in higher tax bills for homeowners.
