PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE

The Sanford Planning Board will hold a public hearings & receive written & oral comments at its December 1, 2021 meeting starting at 6:30 pm on Andrew P. Powell’s application for a Major Site Plan to add a 25,906 square foot addition to the existing Casco Bay Molding’s facility, along with associated parking and a new entrance off the Walmart right-of-way, on its property located at 32 Smada Drive (Tax Map R19, Lot 207).

The hearing may be held in person in Council Chambers at City Hall, 919 Main Street, starting at 6:30 pm, or via remote video and teleconference pursuant to 1 MRSA §403-B(2)(D) and Section 6 of the City Council Rules of Procedure to conduct meetings in indoor public space. Former CGA Site

Map R16, Lot 41A

The City will summarize completed work and provide an overview of available alternatives to the original cleanup plan, future redevelopment, and rehabilitation plans for the former CGA site at 229 New Dam Road. The City will lease the property for creation of a ground-mounted solar facility. The City was awarded a US EPA Brownfields Multipurpose Grant and a Maine DEP/Department of Economic and Community Development Revolving Loan and Subgrant to remediate environmental hazards at the CGA site.

This Motion has been submitted for the following reasons: Joseph Whitcomb’s whereabouts are unknown.

Petitioner believes that Joseph Whitcomb is most likely located at the following address: Sanford Maine.

It is hereby ORDERED that Joseph Whitcomb appear and defend the cause and serve a response to the Petition upon Petitioner, on or before December 29, 2021 at 10:00 a.m.  Joseph Whitcomb is notified that if he/she shall fail to do so, the Petitioner for Appointment of Guardian will proceed without objection.
