Tryouts have been scheduled for Sanford Recreation Spartans travel basketball.  Tryouts are free, and will be held at the Nasson Gym on Oct 13 and Oct 14. Arrests & Summonses: September 12-18

On Sunday, September 12, Sanford Police, responding to a shoplifting call on Main St. at 3:28 a.m., summonsed a 22-year-old Springvale resident for theft and criminal trespass. That night, a disturbance on Main St. led to the arrest of a 17-year-old juvenile for refusing to submit to arrest or detention, and assault on an officer.
