Wanda Parent and her volunteers at Stuff the Bus have been working all through the recent heat wave gathering school supplies for York County kids in need. Many, many local residents and businesses have participated, including Matthew H. and Ryan at Wireless Zone, who donated 150 backpacks, and Marc Motors which has donated 200 backpacks. Members of the Maine Attraction Water Ski Show Team held an adaptive clinic last week, enabling four young men with physical challenges to experience water skiing. Family members working together at Goodall Library's recent Stuffed Turtle Workshop. The Transfer Station's new hours of operation will begin Tuesday, August 23. It will be open Tuesday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., and Saturday 7:30 a.m. to noon.
