News Notes: August 11, 2022
The Transfer Station’s new hours of operation will begin Tuesday, August 23. It will be open Tuesday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., and Saturday 7:30 a.m. to noon.
The Sanford Elks will hold a car wash and bake sale on Saturday, August 20 in the NAPA Auto Parts parking lot. All proceeds benefit mental health awareness and suicide prevention.
The Sanford-Springvale YMCA’s pool AND pool locker rooms will be closed for annual maintenance beginning Monday, August 22nd through Labor Day. The pool and pool locker rooms will reopen Tuesday, September 6th.
