SMHC Garden Tour of Sanford/Springvale

Each year, Southern Maine Health Care hosts a garden tour, with proceeds benefiting the hospital's spiritual care program, which serves both patients and care team members. This year the tour will come to Sanford and Springvale on July 2, visiting four gardens here, as well as one in North Berwick. Press Release The Sri Chinmoy Oneness-Home Peace Run, an international torch relay, is back on the road after pausing due to Covid restrictions. A modified route will include passing the Peace Torch along roads in the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic states. Also scheduled are visits to Florida, San Diego, Seattle, Chicago, Indiana and Michigan. Dakota “Cody” James Markham, 18, died in a motor vehicle accident on May 20, 2022 in Sedgwick. He was born December 5, 2003, in York, the son of Sarah Belmore and Matthew Markham. Cody would have been a graduate of the Ellsworth High School Class of 2022.
