Vouchers for Veterans: Maine military veterans can stop by the Sanford Farmers' Market any Saturday morning in September and receive a free voucher for $20 to spend at the Market as a thank you for your service. Veterans must show proof of service with an acceptable ID such as a DD214, active duty card, medical card from Veterans Services, etc., plus proof of residency. Sanford High School Class of 2022 graduates Grace Davie, Isabella Farrington and Olivia Martin have each been awarded a $1,000 scholarship from the Red Sox Foundation as 2022 New England Service Scholars. These awards are given to 100 students each year from all across New England who are making a meaningful impact in their local communities through service.
