City Adopts New Wage Plan for Non-Union Employees

At a special meeting on January 31, 2023, the Sanford City Council approved a new wage and classification plan for non-union City employees. While union employees’ pay and classifications are studied before each contract renegotiation, a similar study for non-union employees had not been done for many years. The Sanford School Committee met January 30, 2023. Chair Paula Cote was absent, all other members were present. Minutes of January 9 and January 12 meetings were approved. Superintendent of Schools Matt Nelson said this meeting had been rescheduled twice due to weather.
