Subcommittee Meeting Notes 10-12-2021

Municipal Operations and Property Subcommittee Maintaining Private Roads: The Subcommittee discussed the use of municipal equipment and labor to maintain private roads, mostly for snow plowing, but in the case of some unpaved roads, for grading as well. The issue arose during a meeting between Public Works Director Matt Hill and representatives of the Maine Municipal Association, which is the City’s insurer.
