J. Bernadette “Bernie” Roy 85, of Sanford passed away on Thursday, Oct. 5, 2023, at Southbridge Rehab & Living Center in Biddeford. Born in Sanford on May17, 1938 to Valmont and Alpaide (Marcotte) Roy, she attended local schools and graduated from St. Ignatius School as valedictorian of her class. Marching Band Looking Forward to Hosting Finals

2023 Homecoming Parade 

By Sam Bonsey, Sanford Schools Communication Coordinator  Sanford High School celebrated Homecoming Week October 9-13, with spirit days throughout the week, culminating in a pep rally on Friday. The Student Council hosted the homecoming parade on Friday afternoon. The parade is a long-standing tradition in Sanford and has received tremendous community support throughout the years.
