Lydia Jean Ashline 17, of Sanford, beloved daughter of Hayden Sevey and Nicole Ashline died on Wednesday, November 8, 2023, following a tragic automobile accident in Rochester, NH. Subcommittee members Councilor Bob Stackpole, Deputy Mayor Maura Herlihy and Councilor Jonathan Martell reviewed proposed amendments to Chapter 280 of the Sanford City ordinances in response to the passage of LD 2003, a state law that mandates communities make changes to zoning ordinances to increase opportunities for housing growth. Polling Place Discussion Shifts to Schools

Snow Removal and Winter DPW Operations

By Zendelle Bouchard At the City Council’s meeting on Nov. 21, 2023, Department of Public Works Director Matt Hill gave a presentation on snow removal and winter operations, to help the Council and the public better understand what to expect before, during and after storms.
