Sanford Mainers Player Wins NECBL Batting Title

By Sam Bosney Catcher and first baseman Logan Poteet of the Sanford Mainers won the 2023 New England Collegiate Baseball League batting title. Poteet hit .347 in 101 at-bats this season (35 hits). He also led the Mainers in RBI (25) and was second in home runs (3).  The Mainers went 24-19 this season and finished second in the North Division.

Sanford Mainers Prevail in First Round of Playoff Series by Sam Bonsey The Sanford Mainers swept the Mystic Schooners in the first round of the East Division New England Collegiate Baseball League postseason playoff series at Goodall Park in Sanford.
