Annual Powder Puff Game Raises Money for Project Graduation

Sanford High School junior and senior girls competed in the annual Powder Puff game. Photo Credit: Amy Turgeon Sevigny Sanford High School’s Project Graduation had its annual Powder Puff game on Sunday, October 29, at Alumni Stadium. Girls from the junior and senior class compete in a flag football game. The seniors won 25-6. This game happens each year to raise money for Project Graduation. Over $1,700 was raised on Sunday.

The girls’ soccer team dropped games to Windham (3-2) on Oct. 9 and Scarborough (4-0) on Oct. 11, before taking down Westbrook 8-0. Five players scored for Sanford: Hailey Tarbox, Ailey Mann, Kailyn Stuart, Addie Fiandaca, and Audrey Cote. The Sanford High School boys’ soccer team fell to Marshwood 3-1 on Monday, Oct. 9.
