Spartans football team concludes its season
The Sanford High School football team concluded its season Monday, November 6, with a 45-0 loss to Thornton Academy at the Class A South semifinals in Saco. Sanford had a season record of 4-5-1.
Sanford Mainers announcer returning for 2024 season
The Sanford Mainers announced that Justin Ciavolella is returning for the 2024 season as the Director of Broadcasting and Media. He will be providing play-by-play and color commentary for the games. This will be Ciavolella’s second season behind the microphone.
MCS/Pride PTA Turkey Trot
The Margaret Chase Smith/Sanford Pride Parent Teacher Association is hosting their third annual Turkey Trot fundraiser at Cobb Stadium on Saturday, November 18. The fundraiser includes Touch-A-Truck, concessions, and fun prizes. The registration table opens at 12:30 pm.
