“Selfies with Scarecrows”   “Selfies with Scarecrows” starts Monday, Oct. 16, and runs through Halloween. Anyone who snaps a selfie with any of the more than 40 scarecrows around town will be eligible for one of 20 prizes, according to Friends of Downtown. Post it on Instagram or Facebok with the hash tag #sanfordscarecrows, tag @friendsof downtownsanford. The more selfies you take, the better your chances. Rotarians Celebrate 100 Years of Service

Collins will be the guest of honor at the Centennial Gala of the Sanford-Springvale Rotary Club on Sept. 16 at Sanford Seacoast Regional Airport.
