School Committee 4/4 Meeting Summary

The Sanford School Committee met April 4, 2022. All members were present. There was no public participation. Committee Reports Construction: Superintendent of Schools Matt Nelson reported that he will be getting written assurance from Briggs, the subcontractor that is working on the HVAC problem at Sanford High School, that the issue will be resolved even if it takes into next winter. Robotics Team Award Congratulations to SRTC's Team 3451 (pictured above) for winning the Creativity Award at this weekend's FIRST Robotics event, held in Durham NH. The team, which goes by the moniker The ANOMALY, competed against 39 other teams from Massachusetts, New Hampshire and Maine. Sanford Winter Marching Groups Win Gold

Press Release The Sanford Winter Color Guard and Sanford’s “Impact” Indoor Percussion both scored Gold Medals at the Maine Band Directors Association Finals competition, held Sunday, March 27, 2022 at Sanford High School.
