Convenient MD Coming to a Roundabout Near You

Convenient MD, a chain of urgent care clinics, will soon begin construction on their newest location at the intersection of Main St. and Alfred Rd., at the roundabout in South Sanford. Planning Board Approves Solar Facility at Former CGA Site

On March 3, the Planning Board approved a new solar power facility on three parcels of land at 229 New Dam Road. One parcel is the former CGA site, which was taken by the City of Sanford in 2010 for back taxes. The other two parcels are owned by the Maine Turnpike Authority. City Moves Quickly to Address Jagger Mill Hazard

The City of Sanford has moved quickly to address the danger posed by the old Jagger Mill building, which partially collapsed after a storm in early December. The City's Land Bank Authority has been attempting to work with the owners to address issues with the property since 2018. The property taxes have not been paid since that year.
