Parks & Recreation Facilities Closed

At their meeting on Tuesday, September 22, members of the Sanford City Council voted 6-1 to close all public parks, fields, and outdoor sports facilities in the city, and to shut down all recreational programming for adults and youths. August Summer Camp Registration Now Open

Sanford Parks and Recreation has announced that registration is now open for Vacation Camp. Vacation camp will take place at Memorial Gym and you may register for the week of August 10 and/or the week of August 17.  Cost is just $100 per week. Activities may include music, movies, individual crafts, theatre, cheer leading, dancing, environment (including walks and hikes), magic, story hours, canoe/kayaking (age dependent), a variety of interesting educational activities, as well as swimming for all age campers. …
