Damage Controlman Fireman George Helferich of Sanford, who is serving aboard the USS John P Murtha (LPD 26), was recognized by the Commander of the Naval Surface Force in the US Pacific Fleet as the #FaceofSurfaceWarfare on their Facebook page this week.
