The Transfer Station's new hours of operation will begin Tuesday, August 23. It will be open Tuesday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., and Saturday 7:30 a.m. to noon. The new grand entry and ticket booth at Alumni Stadium are progressing nicely. The contractor is awaiting the finishing materials (windows, roofing and sign) to get it all finished. The Sanford Alumni Association has sponsorship opportunities available to support their ongoing efforts on projects like these. York County Community Action Corp.'s Transportation program is pleased to announce that new bus stop signs are being installed along bus routes in and around Sanford. The Transportation program has been working with the City of Sanford on this project for several months.
