The City Council, School Committee and Budget Committee will conduct a public hearing on the following:

PROPOSED MUNICIPAL AND SCHOOL BUDGETS

Municipal and School budgets and budget messages are available for inspection by the public on the City of Sanford’s website at www.sanfordmaine.org.  The School Department’s budget is available on the School Department’s website at www.sanford.org.

The Public Hearing will be held via teleconference on Thursday, March 17, 2022 and will be broadcast on Channel 26 and live streamed at townhallstreams.com/towns/sanfordme.

Members of the public may also submit comments via the City of Sanford website at www.sanfordmaine.org under Email City Departments/City Council.

NOTICE OF DANGEROUS BUILDING HEARINGS

12 FIELDSTONE LANE, SANFORD, LORI A COTE, MICHAEL R COTE, US DEPT. OF AGRICULTURE. NOTICE OF DANGEROUS BUILDING HEARING on April 5, 2022 beginning at 6:00 p.m. by remote methods, pursuant to 1 M.R.S.A. § 403-B(2)(D) and Section 6 of the City Council Rules of Procedure.  Video and teleconference remote login information to attend the hearing will be published and available on the City website at www.sanfordmaine.org/meetings on and not necessarily before Saturday April 1, 2022. This    hearing is to determine whether 12 Fieldstone Lane, identified as Tax Map R11B, Lot 89, and further described in a Deed recorded in the York County Registry of Deeds at Book 6298, Page 120 and Book 6981, Page 241 and Mortgage recorded at Book 6298, Page 122 is a dangerous building or a nuisance within the meaning of 17 M.R.S.A. §§ 2851-2859, and to determine what, if any, remedy is appropriate. This hearing is an opportunity for the owner or parties in interest to present evidence as to why the property is not a dangerous building or a nuisance and to oppose any corrective action ordered by the City Council.  Failure to attend may result in the waiver of certain rights with regard to this property. You can discuss this notice and attendance in the hearing by remote methods with Ian Houseal, Director of Community Development for the City of Sanford prior to the hearing at (207) 608-4101 between the hours of 8:00 AM and 4:00 PM Monday through Friday.

26 ROBERTS STREET, SANFORD, JUDY A ROY, WILMINGTON TRUST.
