Sanford Parks & Recreation will have a variety of summer camp options this year for kids age 3-13.
Summer Wee Ones Morning Camp at Benton Park is for ages 3-6 and will be split into two groups—one group to attend Monday and Wednesday and the other group Tuesday and Thursday. Both groups will have Friday field trips. Cost is just $5 for the entire summer PLUS the cost of the Friday field trips ($5-$10 per week).
The Summer Playground Program is for kids age 6-13. This camp will be five days a week, outdoors at Springvale Playground, except Tuesdays which will be at the Springvale Rec Area. Campers can attend mornings ($90 for the entire summer) or afternoons ($95 for the summer), or both. Lunch will be provided by the Sanford School Nutrition Program for those who want it.
Summer Day Camp is an indoor/outdoor camp that will use Sanford school facilities. Kids in grades K-3 will be at Carl J. Lamb School. Boys entering 4th grade through age 13 will be at the Sanford High School Gym. Girls entering 4th grade through age 13 will be at Veterans’ Memorial Gym. The cost is $450 for the entire summer, with a $25 discount if paid in full by June 18.
All camps will start June 21 and run through August 6. There will be no camp on July 5.
