Sanford’s 13-15 year old Babe Ruth All Stars are the Maine State Champions! And they did it right here at home with a win over Franklin County at Blouin Field this afternoon. Congratulations to the players and coaches!
The Sanford High School wrestling team has stayed in shape with training throughout the summer. Most recently, they hosted a scrimmage with teams from Massabesic, Wells and York. The team captains for the upcoming year have been announced. James Blood, Luke Callis, Mason VanGeison, James Chaplick and Canton Hill will lead the team and help all of their teammates learn, train and achieve their goals.

Todd Angilly, the official Boston Bruins’ National Anthem singer, has been rescheduled to sing the national anthem at Goodall Park on Wednesday, July 20th ahead of the Mainers’ contest against the Upper Valley Nighthawks.
