Sanford Springvale Little League is having a Twilight League for kids age 9-11 to play baseball on Wednesday evenings in July and August. Sign up here.
Pahtra Mar, a 2022 graduate of Sanford High School and a standout outside linebacker and defensive end for the Spartans football team, will play in the Maine Shrine Lobster Bowl Classic in Lewiston on July 16. Read more about him here in the Spartan Times.
Official anthem singer of the Boston Bruins, Todd Angilly, will sing the National Anthem at the Sanford Mainers game on Tuesday, July 12, when the Moose take on the Keene Swamp Bats for Partners Bank Night at Goodall Park.
All Sanford soccer players entering the U9-U14 programs for the 2022 season are invited to learn new skills at the Sanford Spartans’ Youth Soccer Camp, July 25-29. Sanford High School Girls Head Coach Ellie Agreste will lead the camp with assistance from SHS Girls and Boys Varsity players. This is a great opportunity to play on the Alumni Stadium turf field and have a fun week with experienced players and coaches. The camp will be held in the evenings from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m., cost is $50 for the week. More info here.
